Think learning yoga philosophy will be boring or irrelevant?

Hate the dogma, preachiness, and downright holier than thou-ness that spiritual systems like yoga always seem to come with?

You're not alone.

Maybe you’ve heard phrases like “non-attachment,” “ego,” or “illusion,” and thought:
“What, on earth does this does that have to do with my life? How will it help me juggle work, family and friends?  Or cope with the endless fire fighting I do on a day-to-day basis? ”

Here’s the truth:

Yoga philosophy explains, and offers tools to shift, much of the inner conflict, emotional reactivity, and suffering we all experience.

IT’S NOT JUST FOR TEACHERS AND SCHOLARS!

In fact, it wasn’t written or designed to be academic at all, it is meant to be lived.

It’s for anyone who’s ever:

  • Overthought a conversation for hours

  • Reacted out of fear, then regretted it

  • Tried to control something slipping through their fingers

  • Felt stuck in a role they never chose

  • Wanted to return to calm, but didn’t know how

And no … it doesn’t have to be boring.

You don’t need to sit through dull lectures with dusty old text books or memorise Sanskrit.

That’s why I’ve built this workshop around a story you already know and love:

The tragic fall of a hero - Anakin Skywalker.

Few tales illustrate the human mind; our hopes, fears, attachments, and illusions, quite like his.

What You’ll Learn:

Through storytelling, reflection, and yoga wisdom, you’ll have an insight into how yoga wisdom can help you:

  1. Recognise the thoughts that drive unconscious reactions

  2. Understand emotional patterns and where they come from

  3. Notice the roles and identities you cling to—and how they shape your choices

  4. Work with fear and control in a more compassionate, embodied way

  5. Reclaim clarity in moments of overwhelm, stress, or self-doubt

This is not your average yoga workshop.

It’s cinematic.

It’s relatable.

It’s real life,  tangible,  self awareness … with a lightsaber twist.

Because the most powerful journey isn't the battle in a galaxy far, far away …

It’s the one within you.
